HI! / ¡Hola!

Gama Valle (él/he) is a Puerto Rican writer, theatre director and casting director. He is originally from Camuy— a small town on the north-west of the island. He holds a BA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, where he honed his playwriting skills. After graduating, Gama moved to New York City to complete his MFA in Directing at The New School.

Gama runs his own casting office— Bass/Valle Casting. His latest picture book in Spanish, "Prohibido llorar" (Absolutely No Crying) is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection.

He currently lives in NYC with his boyfriend and their pup, Meta.
